Great Wall Motor Company Limited, P.R.C.,Chief Engineer BEV Powertrain System Design

Mr. Rolf Albrecht graduated from the University of Applied Sciences Ulm, Germany in 2006, majoring in automotive engineering. He has 10 years of working experience in AVL, Austria, focusing on the design and simulation of new energy vehicle powertrains. In his last position he served as technical project manager for the Asian market of AVL in this field. In 2017 he joined Great Wall Motors as Chief Engineer. As such Mr. Albrecht and his team are responsible for the development of Great Wall Motor's battery electric vehicle powertrain systems. He has been instrumental in taking the BEV powertrain for the ORA product line from zero to its current success. In addition, Mr. Albrecht serves as the interface person for Great Wall Motors in the Spotlight Joint Venture with BMW Group related to BEV Powertrain System Design & Total Vehicle Performance Integration Topics.
