Ms. Geißendörfer completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics at the Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg, Germany, with a specialization in macroeconomics. Following her studies, she worked as a researcher and lecturer at the chair of the renowned and long-standing member of the German Council of Economic Experts, Prof. Dr. Peter Bofinger. During this time, she also successfully completed her doctorate. In 2023, Ms. Geißendörfer joined the Association of International Motor Vehicle Manufacturers e.V. (VDIK) as Manager for Economics and Statistics. In her current role, she is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the German automotive market, the economic environment and broader economic trends.
